Quorum and Chestergate Acquire Poynton Industrial Estate Site for Major Logistics Development
Quorum and Chestergate, two well-established Cheshire based property development companies, are set to redevelop a former manufacturing unit on Poynton Industrial Estate to create a purpose built 65,000 sq ft facility suitable for warehouse, logistics and manufacturing uses. The joint venture partners acquired the site from former owner occupier, API Laminates Ltd in April of this year following a highly competitive bidding process.
The new JV plans to transform the outdated building into a brand new, cutting-edge facility that will appeal to a broad range of occupiers. Known as QC65, the building will undergo a comprehensive reconfiguration, refurbishment and repositioning with works anticipated to be completed by Q1 2026. The modern building will be available on either a freehold or leasehold basis with Williams Sillitoe appointed as the sole agents.
“This is one of the very few opportunities of this scale currently available in the region,” said Mark Sillitoe of Williams Sillitoe. “Its strategic location, with strong links to Manchester Airport and the motorway network, will make it highly attractive to both local and national operators and we anticipate strong demand.”
